Location: Historic Southport Village in Southport, CT. The school is located in the former Pequot School Building and Southport Savings Bank on a two-acre campus.

Students: 120 students, grades 2nd-8th. The student body is coed and the Lower School includes grades 2nd-5th and the Upper School includes grades 6th-8th.

Grades Served: Classes are not scheduled by grade. Students typically range from 2nd-8th grade; we maintain students' actual grades and provide appropriate curriculum as they progress so they can transition into the corresponding grade when they leave TSS.

Faculty: 38 teachers, 18 administrators; total of 56 faculty and staff members

Student/faculty ratio: 4:1

Students’ average length of enrollment: 3-4 years; approximately 60% go on to attend independent or parochial schools while 40% attend public schools.

Geographic distribution: Over the years, the school has served students from 45 communities. Students currently come from more such communities in Fairfield and Westchester County including Darien, Fairfield, New Canaan, Norwalk, Weston, Westport, and Wilton.

Accreditations: The Southport School's Orton-Gillingham Instructional and Training Programs is accredited by the Orton-Gillingham Academy and The Southport CoLAB is proud to be an Orton-Gillingham Training Program, also accredited by the Orton-Gillingham Academy. We are a CAIS accredited school.

School Hours:

7:50 AM to 3:00 PM - Monday through Thursday (lunch served)

7:50 AM to 12:31 PM -  Friday (half-day, lunch is not served)

Front Office Hours:

7:45 AM to 4:00 PM - Monday through Friday

Tuition for 2023-2024 Academic School Year: $69,500 (deposit required of $15,000)
